After joining MBA (free to join), getting coverage is easy and affordable. Coverage is guaranteed1, with separate plans offered for members who are under at 65 and those that are over age 65. Coverage is also available for your spouse and/or dependent children.

All of our plans pay the Daily Hospital Confinement Benefit each day a covered person is confined to a hospital as an inpatient. The confinement must begin within 90 days after covered event occurs. This benefit is payable for up to the specified number days per year for each covered person. This benefit is only payable once per day, even if the confinement is the result of more than one covered event.

If a Covered Person is discharged from the hospital and again becomes confined as an inpatient for the same or related Covered Event within 90 days of discharge, it will be considered the same period of confinement.

This benefit does not cover treatment as an Outpatient or for a hospital stay of less than 20 hours.
